As I was goin to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits cats sacks and wives
How many were going to St. Ives?

A cat came fiddling out of a barn,
With a pair of bagpipes under her arm.
She could sing nothing but fiddle dee dee,
The mouse has married the bumblebee.
Pipe, cat; dance, mouse;
We’ll have a wedding at our good house.

Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken,
Lay a little egg for me.
Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken,
I want one for my tea.
I haven’t had an egg since Easter,
And now it’s half past three.
So, chick, chick, chick, chicken,
Lay a little egg for me.

Monday alone,
Tuesday together,
Wednesday we walk
when it’s fine weather,
Thursday we laugh,
Friday we cry,
Saturday’s hours
Seems almost to fly,
But of all the days of the week,
We will call Sunday, the rest day,
The best day of all.

The Easter Bunny’s feet,
Go hop, hop, hop.
While his big pink ears,
Go flop, flop, flop.
He is rushing on his way,
To bring our eggs on Easter Day.
With a hop, flop, hop, flop, hop.

Five green bottles standing on the wall.
Five green bottles standing on the wall.
And if one green bottle should accidently fall,
there’ll be four green bottles standing on the wall.
Then: four, three, two, one and no bottles...

Good morning, merry sunshine,
How did you wake so soon?
You chased away the little stars,
And shone away the moon!
I saw you go to sleep last night
Before I ceased my play.
How did you get back overhead
To shine on me today?
